Your phone number is one of the most personal things you own. It follows you between jobs, cities, and life stages, and it’s how the people who matter reach you. The decision to share it is an important one.
We ask for your number only to send you factual news, bypassing the influence of algorithms, the chaos of social media, and the clutter of unread email. Your decision to share your number with us is an act of trust, and we work hard to deserve it every weekday morning.
informed.now doesn’t sell your number, doesn’t rent it, and doesn’t pass it to external third parties like advertisers or sponsors. We keep as little as the service needs, tell you exactly what that is below, and delete it when you ask. We built this service because we wanted a calmer, more honest way to stay informed, and privacy is fundamental to that promise. If a company wouldn’t want its own data handled a certain way, it has no business handling yours that way either.
Data We Collect
Your mobile number, the date, time, and method of your opt-in (such as keyword or web form), your opt-out record, the messages you send us, and any information you willingly choose to share with us. Paid plan payments go through our payment processor. We never see or store your full payment details.
How We Use Data
Your number is used to deliver the news briefing and reply to your questions. Your opt-in and opt-out records let us honor your choices and prove consent in case of a carrier audit.
Your Number Stays Within informed.now
Your phone number, consent records, and message history are never sold, rented, traded, or disclosed outside informed.now. We don’t share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing, use your number to enroll you in any other text program, or sell personal information. The only exception is the messaging infrastructure required to transmit texts to your carrier, which is contractually limited to only delivering our messages. We disclose information only if required by law.
Deleting Your Data
Text us at 844-406-INFO (4636) to ask for your data to be deleted. We’ll confirm by text once your number and message history are removed, subject to the mandated period carriers require us to retain proof of text messaging consent. If you have unsubscribed by texting STOP, text START to enable us to confirm your data deletion by text.
Caring for Children
informed.now isn’t for anyone under 13 years old, and we don’t knowingly collect numbers from children.
Policy Changes
We may update this privacy policy at any time without prior notice. The current version always lives at this address. Continued use after a change means you accept the change.

These policies are governed by the laws of the State of California.
