We're human first. We use AI selectively where we can, but never on its own and always with a person responsible for the result. Readers deserve transparency around AI usage from the media they choose to consume. This page is where we expect it of ourselves.

informed.now is a human-first company. People pick every story we text you, write every word, and check every fact against its source. That's our responsibility, and no tool can take it from us.
AI Used Selectively
We use AI scarcely and purposefully where it's the most efficient tool to help get to the facts. Majority of our AI use is for managing our company (accounting, analytics, operations), not in our news research, which will always be led by humans. We never use AI to decide what matters. We never use AI to respond to our readers, our response is always human.
AI Is Never Unsupervised
We take responsibility for our work, so no AI work is ever unsupervised. A person reads, checks, and approves anything a model touched before it reaches you. If we get something wrong, the mistake is ours and we fix it.
